Miraculous Mission VBS Starts Today!
We are ready to begin our intergalactic adventure and learn about God’s plan of salvation from creation to the cross.  Participants should plan to arrive at 5:30 p.m. today to ease the registration process.  We will have pizza available for children and volunteers and will plan to begin our opening promptly at 6:00.  Children may be picked up at 8:00 p.m.  VBS will run from 6-8 p.m. on Monday – Thursday with a program on Thursday evening beginning at 7:30. All parents and congregation members are welcome to attend.

Please pray for VBS
We ask that you keep our Miraculous Mission VBS in your prayers this week.  Pray that the hearts and minds of the children will be open to God’s message of love and grace.  And pray also for our many volunteers as they share their talents with the children this week.

BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES Has your family ever taken a “vacation” from technology? For one day, try challenging your family to no electronics. No computers, TV, or phones. Instead, try reading a good book, playing a board game, swimming, or taking a walk. Then, at the end of the day, reflect on the difference. It will be an interesting learning experience for all involved! Lutheran Family Service (Quad Cities Area 563-359-0696 or www.lutheranfamilyservice.org)
