LWML FALL RETREAT The women of the Cedar Rapids Zone LWML invite you to join us for the Fall Retreat at Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca on September 6-7, 2019. There will be fun, fellowship, and growth in God’s Word with our sisters in Christ. This year for the first time ever there will also be a children’s program on Saturday! Bring your children ages 3-6th grade(ish) with you to camp. They are welcome to spend the night. DCE Emma from St. Paul’s in Marion will have activities planned for them. More information and registration forms are in the Narthex.

BUILDING HEALTHY FAMILIES Believe it or not, school will be starting soon! How can we make the most of the remaining days of summertime with our kids? Being intentional about spending time with them. Turn off the TV, put away the phone and gadgets and have conversations. Go out for ice cream, a walk to the park, or a game of basketball. Pray with them before they go to sleep. Creating memories doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Lutheran Family Service (Quad Cities Area 563-359-0696 or www.lutheranfamilyservice.org)
